Nuts for Nuttzo

by HEAB on September 21, 2009

Hello my almond butter loving friends. If you're new to HEAB, you may like to subscribe to my RSS feed or receive my posts via email. Thanks for reading!

Last night, I met up with Anna for dinner at PM, one of my favorite Nashville restaurants.

Me & Anna

Me & Anna

Anna and I met this past summer in the blogosphere, and I couldn’t help but love  her after seeing her beautiful bowls of oat bran. :)   A few weeks ago, she moved to Nashville to attend college, and I am so excited to have met another local blogger.  Anna, you are the cutest thing, and I can’t wait to meet up again soon. Oh, and I forgot to take a picture of my dinner…too bad since I ordered sweet potato fries.  So good!

OK, now for some nut butter action…

Love the story behind Nutzo! And I’m happy you forgot a pic of the SP fries… or else I’d currently be warding off an insatiable craving for them at noon :)

Nice for you two to be in the same town!

That butter looks amazing- but what is it? PB, AB, SB, what? Do they inject omegas into it? I’m curious and a bit confused!

My favorite is the pine nut. Delicious in pesto and raw “cheeses”!

This is the perfect blend of nuts and seeds. OMG!! Sometimes in the middle of the afternoon I get low blood sugar and I just take a tablespoon (or 2) out of the jar and it works instantaneously. Makes great sandwiches and is perfect on celery or just by itself. I love to put nut butters in to my protein shakes, haven’t tried it with this one though. It has whole flax seeds in it, so it has texture and crunch. It’s just yummy!! :)

Tracy,I could not agree more. Love my Nuttzo, and I’m so sad it’s almost gone. :(

Heather, I easily go through a jar every 10 days or so. Since eating this, plain almond butter or plain peanut butter is just plain boring. I have to contain myself cause I could easily eat a jar in a couple of days. Amazing I’m not gaining weight on it. I guess it’s just perfect for me in that sense.
