First off, for those of you following me on Twitter, last week I changed my username from heathmacd to almondheather, and now I can’t log into my account. I have emailed the Twitter folks 3 times now and have yet to hear back from them. If any of you Twitter experts out there have any suggestions, please help!
OK, onto more important things. Guess what? I don’t actually read all those blogs listed on my Blogroll. If I did, I’d be on the computer all day (No comment CD). Although I do try and check in with everyone when I can, there are only a few blogs that I read everyday, one of them being Chocolate Covered Katie. Not only are her posts well written and totally hilarious, but all of her recipes are amazing. That coupled with the fact that Katie donates 100% of the proceeds from her blog to charity keeps me clicking back day after day.
This month, Katie launched Operation Chocolate Covered Kindness, a page view charity drive to raise money for The Enough Project. All you have to do is visit her blog. Simple as that. To do my part, I am going to try and make a Katie inspired dish everyday. Hey, it’s a dirty chocolate covered job, but someone’s gotta do it.

Katie, I finally tried your melted banana trick. Because I’m not a fan of the microwave (yes, I’m paranoid that the rays are melting my insides), I simply used the stove-top. Trust me, you have not lived until you’ve eaten a melted banana mixed with tahini.
