Got Cream?

After yesterday’s post, guess who arrived home from work with a big jar of tahini in hand? Hehe. So CD didn’t actually bring any tahini home, but CD, keep it in mind. Valentine’s Day will be here before we know it. 😉

You know what I did this morning? I’ll give you a few hints…

1) I haven’t done it in a month.

2) It lasted 100 minutes

3) I worked muscles I forgot I had while some man with a really deep voice chanted in the background.

Well??? Yoga! Yes, I went back to my favorite studio for a morning vinyasa class. It’s actually my last week to work with Lindsey, my online personal trainer, but I just couldn’t wait any longer to get back in the studio. The class was challenging in so many ways, and I was so happy to be back. I’ll do a more formal summary of my thoughts on this month’s workouts later this week. They’ve been great, but my heart belongs to my yoga mat.

OK, onto breakfast…

I had a cup of coffee before yoga and planned on a smoothie when I got home. However, it’s so cold out, and I just wanted something warm. So, I made an omelet instead. I know my food pictures are getting uglier and uglier, but I’m beyond trying to make them look pretty. What matters most is the taste, right? This morning’s breakfast? TAH-STAYY!!!!

I whisked together 2 whole eggs, and then poured some of Mae’s pizza cheese into the middle before flipping my omelet, making a huge eggy, cheesy mess. I then drizzled the top of my egg slop with tahini. Oh my, or I guess I should say Ohh May. 😉 Katie has been telling me to add hummus and nooch to my eggs. Katie, thank you from the bottom of my heart. This totally hit the spot, and I think I might have it again for lunch!

I had wanted to make a smoothie because Janetha has requested pictures of fellow bloggers showing off their smoothie ‘staches. Janetha, I simply could not do a smoothie this morning…so, I improvised. I brewed up a big mug of rooibos tea from Maggie (Thanks Maggie!) and topped it off with some whipped heavy cream and cinnamon. So, how about a cream ‘stache? Does that work? (Please forgive the post-yoga hair)
