I needed a simple, yet filling breakfast this morning…
and thankfully, Nicole reminded me of custard oat bran (1/2 cup oat bran cooked with 1 1/2 cups water with an egg stirred in at the end) and topped with Artisana Cacao Bliss. Nicole – this was just what I needed! I love oat bran so much, and out of all the grains I’ve tried, it will always be my favorite. Sometimes I sweeten it, but most days, I prefer it plain. Besides, we all know it’s the toppings that make that make the bowl, no?
I’m a feeling a bit overwhelmed these days with everything going on in my life, and I just wanted all of you to know. Therefore, as honored as I am when I’m asked to do a guest post or blog interview, I’m going to have to start saying no. I’m so sorry, but I just can’t seem to keep up with everything right now. Kind of random, but I have something I’d like to share with you guys. For any Johnny Cash fans out there, my good friend Kristin recently spoke with with his daughter, Roseanne, and you can read Kristin’s beautifully written interview here. The Cash family will always hold a special place in my heart as I was good friends with Roseanne’s step-daughter growing up and spent tons of time at their house. Kristin, thanks for sharing a bit of the Cash family with us.
