A HEAB Christmas

by HEAB on December 25, 2010

This year, we had both families in town for Christmas. My parents live in Nashville as does my younger brother, and my older brother and his wife drove down from Indiana. Chris’s parents flew in from Arizona, and we were all together for Summer’s first Christmas.

Christmas Eve dinner was carbolicious. My mom and Alice did all the cooking, and I filled my plate with turkey, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and rutabagas. Mmm, I love holiday food.

I skipped the apple pie + ice-cream and fixed myself a bowl of oat bran with nut butter before going to bed. This morning, we woke up and opened gifts. I received several gift certificates, and I cannot wait to go shopping for new clothes! Then we heated up leftovers and enjoyed them with some honeybaked ham. Now it’s time to clean up and put away gifts. Summer received the most gifts out of anyone…and slept through it all. :)

Isn’t she so cute?!?

Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and best wishes for an amazing 2011 from the HEAB family!
