My ♥’s

by HEAB on February 14, 2011

Hello my almond butter loving friends. If you're new to HEAB, you may like to subscribe to my RSS feed or receive my posts via email. Thanks for reading!

Today I am loving…

IMG_7302.JPG

This gargantuan jar of ghee CD bought me at Costco.

I love eating it in…

IMG_7308.JPG

a bowl of chopped sweet potato fried in ghee, canned wild salmon, and brewer’s yeast.

I still love my Baker’s unsweetened chocolate…

IMG_7306.JPG

I tried the Dagoba 100%, but it simply doesn’t compare to the Baker’s stuff. For once, I like the cheaper brand. CD always jokes about my expensive tastes and likes to tell me that my tombstone will someday read, Here lies Heather. She never once looked at a price tag.

I love these T-shirts from Fibers.com

IMG_7314.JPG

I promise Summer was much excited about her nut butter jar shirt than she looked, and I probably should have gotten the Team Ghee shirt. ;)

I would love to give you a shirt from Fibers.com. They have all kinds of options, including various food themed shirts, or you can create your own custom design. To win a $35 gift certificate towards a shirt of your own, simply leave a comment below telling me which design you would choose.

Happy Valentine’s Day! I’m off to enjoy a big bowl of…

True Love Grits with some ghee.

I love the shirt that say “Eat Your Veggies!” It has a ton of little vegetables on it.

Brigid of Vegging out in T-Town February 14, 2011 at 9:34 am

This site is adorable! I love the one that says “the original vegan” with the dinosaur: http://www.fibers.com/shop/design/the-original-vegan.D456. So cute.

Jennie February 14, 2011 at 9:34 am

I have never tried ghee – something new to put on my list of things to try! I love the shirts! I would order the ‘Addicted to Oatmeal’ shirt. I could eat oats with every meal. My husband teases me because my pantry is always stocked with oat bran, rolled oats, and steel cut oats. I always restock well before I get too low because I am afraid of what I would do if I ran out!

Amanda- The Nutritionist Reviews February 14, 2011 at 9:36 am

I would choose one that has my blog name on it!

Amalfi Girl (EatRunHaveFun!) February 14, 2011 at 9:40 am

Was the jam purposely placed in a heart shape, or was that just fortuitious? :)

Happy V-Day!

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 10:09 am

Amalfi,
Yep, the jam heart was on purpose. :)

stacey k. February 14, 2011 at 9:42 am

I agree with Danielle! I love the shirt that read “eat your veggies”. I am telling that to my boyfriend all the time!

Gretchen @ Honey, I Shrunk the Gretchen! February 14, 2011 at 9:47 am

Even though I’m not a vegan, I think that the “original vegan” shirt with the brontosaurus on it is AMAZING. I also pretty much need to own every single one of the shirts that mentions bacon (“Bacon is Meat Candy”? So true. Also, did I mention how I’m obviously NOT vegan? Hahahaha.)

Stephanie @ Thorns Have Roses February 14, 2011 at 9:52 am

I love the one that says *I heart Lefse.* I’m Norwegian so this is perfect! :)

Mary February 14, 2011 at 9:52 am

There is no doubt that I would get one of the bacon shirts. You and summer both look fabulous!

Car February 14, 2011 at 9:53 am

I might get one of the really random ones like “I’m a komodo dragon trapped in a human body.” Heh.

Melissa B. February 14, 2011 at 9:56 am

Ghee, sweet potatoes, and chocolate- some of my favorite foods, for sure! I know it’s wrong, but the “I love tube steak” shirt is amazing. When I saw that one, I started laughing, and almost sprayed my coffee all over my computer! I would just love to wear that shirt out in public, and note people’s reactions!

Trisha February 14, 2011 at 10:00 am

I’ve been eating broccoli every day for the last 4 years…I can’t get enough of it! Therefore, I’d love the broccoli shirts. Or any of the fruits or veggie ones for that matter! That’s an awesome website!

Holly @ Couch Potato Athlete February 14, 2011 at 10:02 am

Summer looks so adorable in her shirt! What a face :)

I scrolled through a ton of the shirts and I like the flaming marshmallow — page 11 I think. Hilarious!

Astrid February 14, 2011 at 10:04 am

I would get the “I love hibachi” shirt!

Veronica February 14, 2011 at 10:07 am

Wow, it’s hard to choose just one design! My top two would be “Bacon is meat candy” and “I’m here for the pie” (cause I so am!)

Katie February 14, 2011 at 10:09 am

I tried the Ghirrardeli 100% unsweetened, which is twice the price of Baker’s…blech! I was so ready to like the “good stuff” better, but for once, the cheaper brand was so much better!

Bacon is meat candy? Awesome t-shirt!
OR the eggs and bacon face t-shirt. Or the “I’m not a nugget” chicken t-shirt.

I want them all!

brandi@BranAppetit February 14, 2011 at 10:13 am

so adorable :)

It would be hard to choose, but I do love the “I Love Biscuits” shirt!

Tulika February 14, 2011 at 10:15 am

I also love the “eat your veggies” …or the “i heart spinach” design!!

Elizabeth@The Sweet Life February 14, 2011 at 10:18 am

I miss commenting on your blog! I’d have to say “Bacon is meat candy”! Too funny.

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 3:51 pm

Thanks Elizabeth. I miss you guys!

Anita Ruiz February 14, 2011 at 10:22 am

I would get the shirt with that says “Eat your veggies” and has smiling vegetables. I would get my boyfriend one of the bacon shirts, those were really funny.

Shelby February 14, 2011 at 10:24 am

I’m climbing onto the “Eat Your Veggies” shirt. So adorable!

Sarena (The Non-Dairy Queen) February 14, 2011 at 10:25 am

I love a great t shirt! I will definitely check this out. Tony and I considered doing t shirts. With his illustrations I think we would have fun doing it…we just need the space. We went to TN this weekend. It was beautiful yesterday, but sadly Tony was sick and we needed to just get home. I wish it was easy for us to decide to move there. Anyway, I am going in a different direction. I hope you have an incredible Valentine’s Day!

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 3:50 pm

Sarena, I’ve already decided for you. MOVE! ;) Just kidding. I know its a huge decision, but TN would be lucky to have u guys. Hope Tony is feeling better. :)

Mary-Elsye February 14, 2011 at 10:26 am

I love the peace love coffee one. Especially since all my friends know I’m obsessed with coffee

Kelly February 14, 2011 at 10:30 am

chocolate-covered katie February 14, 2011 at 10:33 am

Send me that unwanted Dagoba! ;)
Haha j/k. Happy Valentine’s Day, dearest HEAB! And happy FIRST Valentine’s Day to Summer :) .

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 3:47 pm

CCK, Totally thought of you when I bought the Dagoba, and if I hadn’t already eaten half of it, I would send it to you, It’s good melted atop oats but pretty bitter on its own. Next I want to try Sunspire’s unsweetened as I hear it’s really good.

chocolate-covered katie February 14, 2011 at 5:09 pm

I thought Bakers was bitter! Well, I guess that’s why they make different brands– cause tastes are different! I’m on a hunt for the Sunspire too! :)

Felicia (a taste of health with balance) February 14, 2011 at 10:35 am

I just bought a bar of dagoba! i’m trying to work up to loving the 100%.. had a bite last night.. still need to keep working :) love ghee- a little bit goes a long way!

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 3:43 pm

Felicia, I have tried so many of the fancy baking chocolates, and I always go back to Bakers. The best in my opinion!

Jen @ keepitsimplefoods February 14, 2011 at 10:37 am

Love the V-day oats! You both look adorable in your shirts!

Stefanie February 14, 2011 at 10:47 am

You two look adorable in your shirts. I am likeing the eat your veggies shirt too. Happy Valentines day. :)

Sarah February 14, 2011 at 10:51 am

I think the “I love coffee” shirt would be most fitting for me!

Kathryn February 14, 2011 at 10:56 am

definitely the “i love chocolate!”
Happy Valentines day!

Cat @ WellSavannah February 14, 2011 at 10:56 am

I like the “Burn Fat Not Oil” with the bike. So cool!

Ricki February 14, 2011 at 10:57 am

I love the “I love sweet tea” shirt, but the “peace, love, coffee” shirt also speaks to me! What can I say? I have two small children….I heart caffeine! ha!

kathleen February 14, 2011 at 10:59 am

i really want to get my husband the “bacon is my vegetable” t-shirt. i swear, the other day I put so much bacon in his spaghetti sauce that I actually thought to myself, “how much bacon grease in one meal constitutes actually trying to kill your husband”.

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 3:41 pm

Kathleen, haha. What is it with men and their bacon?!?

nadia February 14, 2011 at 11:13 am

happy valentines day!! <3

thank you for reminding me about ghee!
My grandma and dad loved and used it (very) liberally… Now its my turn! ;)

Ana February 14, 2011 at 11:15 am

Nice website, so many choices! But I went directly to look for one and was happy when I found it: I <3 Watermelon!
I have always told my husband I wanted a shirt like that, Watermelon is just the best food ever!
Ana

Jess@atasteofconfidence February 14, 2011 at 11:15 am

ah i love summer’s shirt!

Alli K February 14, 2011 at 11:19 am

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 3:39 pm

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 3:38 pm

Katie, did you know that Wednesday is National Almond Day? Enjoy celebrating! :)

Deborah February 14, 2011 at 11:30 am

Happy Valentine’s Day!!

I like the Eat Your Veggies shirt. :)

Bryana February 14, 2011 at 11:30 am

Any of the peanut butter themed shirts are my favorites. I especially love the one that says “I love PB & Jelly” with a picture of the sandwich!

Therese February 14, 2011 at 11:33 am

I like the “I <3 water" shirt! I'm always thirsty and carrying a huge water bottle around.

Krista (kristastes) February 14, 2011 at 11:33 am

Summer is so tiny and cute! I would choose an I <3 ____ shirt and fill it in with 'my neti pot' haha!

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 3:36 pm

Krista, haha. That is great. :)

Lauren February 14, 2011 at 11:37 am

I would totally have to get the one about “bacon being meat candy” or the “bacon is my vegetable” for my husband.

Lori February 14, 2011 at 11:37 am

So many to chose from! I really like the Okie Dokie Artie Chokie because my girls always say that!

Hands in Namaste February 14, 2011 at 11:40 am

Corey @ the runner's cookie February 14, 2011 at 12:25 pm

Both of your shirts are adorable! I’m sure Summer will be eating almond butter as soon as she is old enough for it ;) You two look so happy and healthy!

Maryz February 14, 2011 at 12:26 pm

I would love to have the ‘Addicted to Chocolate’ shirt.
You guys are so cute!

tea-bag February 14, 2011 at 12:27 pm

I would totally get the “addicted to mustard” t-shirt because everything i eat is basically a vehicle for getting more mustard in my mouth.

Stephen February 14, 2011 at 12:29 pm

I’d get the “eat your veggies” shirt because I loves me some veggies.

Sarah February 14, 2011 at 12:36 pm

I would get the Misplaced Californian t-shirt. We moved from LA @7months ago to care for a sick family member and I miss it so. Can’t wait to return.

Michele

Kari February 14, 2011 at 12:41 pm

I’m torn between ‘Eat Your Veggies’ or making one dealing with Flexitarian. Just off the cuff, maybe something like, “Flexitarian: If it lived, I’ll eat it.”, “Runs on Sprouts”, “Flexatarian (with a picture of brussel sprouts, spinach, asparagus, and a cow running away), etc. I don’t know. I’d have to think on it for sure, but Wren would definitely be getting one.

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 3:34 pm

Karl, I like the veggies and cow running away. :)

Whitney February 14, 2011 at 12:51 pm

haha, love the shirts!
I’d go for the “conserve water” one.

Gina February 14, 2011 at 12:54 pm

You & Summer look awesome in your new shirts :)
After perusing the sight, I’m loving this shirt: http://www.fibers.com/shop/design/coffee-chocolate-men-better-rich.D12863/junior-fit-ringer-t-shirt.P201

:)

I’ve never heard of Ghee, I’ll have to look it up!

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 3:32 pm

Gina, ghee is clarified butter. It’s made by boiling regular butter and then skimming off all the milk proteins that settle at the bottom. I love it. :)

Ali February 14, 2011 at 1:02 pm

I would buy this one: http://www.fibers.com/shop/design/vegan-swoosh.D4791/bamboo-racerback-tank-top.P2060

That’s a great site, thanks for posting about it!

And Summer is too cute by the way, little nut butter baby!

Fallon February 14, 2011 at 1:07 pm

Cute shirts!!

The feed me almonds shirt spoke to me!

Darien February 14, 2011 at 1:12 pm

I <3 Sweet Tea

LauraJayne February 14, 2011 at 1:13 pm

I LOVE the Not a Nugget one!

Heather February 14, 2011 at 1:17 pm

Hmmm… I’m split between the Writer’s Block deisign (Writer’s Block: When your imaginary friends stop talking to you) and the Colorado Mountains tee. :)

Kelsey @ Clean Teen Kelsey February 14, 2011 at 1:20 pm

Happy Valentine’s Day, Heather! I hope your day is awesome. Summer is too beautiful, just like her mama. :) I would either get the “Eat Your Veggies” shirt, “Herbivore” shirt, or make my own advertising my blog. :)

Sam February 14, 2011 at 1:22 pm

I like the shirt you are wearing :D

Christin@purplebirdblog February 14, 2011 at 1:29 pm

I’m digging the PB&J True Love one… and I’d totally have to get it in the 3/4 sleeve men’s raglan style with the green and white!!! ;D Happy love day to you and your sweet Summer! (And CD too! ;) )

Jen H February 14, 2011 at 1:38 pm

Love the shirts! My 2 year old would appreciate the “Feed me Lollipops” one!

Rachel February 14, 2011 at 1:43 pm

I can’t resist the “eat your veggies” shirt with all of the smiling vegetables :)

Abby @ Have Dental Floss, Will Travel February 14, 2011 at 1:44 pm

I have a teammate that, during 24+ hour races, always pulls out bacon in the middle of the night. I’ve been a veggie for 20 years so I’ve never partaken, but everyone else goes nuts for it. So, I think I’d make a custom shirt for Bruce that says, “Will Race for Bacon.”

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 3:24 pm

Love it Abby. :)

Ellen February 14, 2011 at 1:55 pm

i’ve really wanted a shirt that says “GRASSFED.” on it ever since i saw Joel Salatin wear one in the documentary Fresh. :)

Clare @ Fitting It All In February 14, 2011 at 2:21 pm

I’d get the “Have you hugged a vegetarian today” shirt! Love the site!

Tracy February 14, 2011 at 2:23 pm

I love “Eat Your Veggies” cuz I’m a mom of 4 and I say that every day!!

Namaste Gurl February 14, 2011 at 2:37 pm

They sell ghee now at Costco? How cool. Yet another product I’m amazed to see at Costco!
Thanks to you, I love Baker’s chocolate, too. In fact, you just reminded me I need to restock! :)

Maryea {Happy Healthy Mama} February 14, 2011 at 2:49 pm

*Eat your veggies!*

Michelle (@ Housewife in the Raw) February 14, 2011 at 3:04 pm

I’d love the Herbivore one. Happy Valentine’s Day to you!

Jess S. February 14, 2011 at 3:46 pm

I go for the “have you had your avocado today?” or “i’m hot like wasabi”. both so cute!

McIntosh February 14, 2011 at 3:46 pm

Good grief! There are a lot to choose from…so just from a quick glance I would pick “I am not a nugget” or “instant Human. Just add coffee” or “Make coffee not war”

Better yet…I think I would design my own but that will take some more time and thought.. Too bad I’m not Irish and a drinker…there would be a ton to choose from (:

Nice jelly heart in your oatmeal too.

Marilyn February 14, 2011 at 3:49 pm

I would choose one that has my blog name on it…or I’m With Stupid, that’s a classic ;)

Bridget February 14, 2011 at 3:51 pm

I’ve got to get my paws on some Ghee asap! I can picture myself using it in so many great recipes!

Love the shirt by the way. Butter lovers represent :)

Baking 'n' Books February 14, 2011 at 4:14 pm

What a phenomenal give-away!

I love all the shirt ideas – I kept saying “that one!” and then would see another I liked…hmm – I do like the Cow one that says “Better than a Burger”….

But the one that says ” Get Me Drunk and Enjoy The Show” is cute :)

Erica February 14, 2011 at 4:21 pm

Wow, do you eat the chocolate straight-up?? I can eat the 90% cocoa but I still haven’t worked my way up to 100%!

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 6:02 pm

Erica,
Yep, straight up, but honestly, the only 100% chocolate I really like is the Baker’s. The more expensive ones are a little too bitter, even for me.

megs February 14, 2011 at 4:26 pm

I would get one that says addicted to kale

Molly @ MollyRunsFresh February 14, 2011 at 4:54 pm

I love your t-shirts… like mother, like daughter! If I got a free shirt, I would pick the one that says “Hug me, I’m a vegetarian” so I would get a ton of hugs at school ;)

Esther February 14, 2011 at 4:57 pm

I like the one that says eat your veggies. Really cute!

Ali February 14, 2011 at 4:59 pm

Ha, the “I’m only gonna brick break your heart” t-shirt has my cracking up! Thanks for the chance to win!

Kathleen February 14, 2011 at 5:02 pm

Hi Heather!! Long-time reader (I heart your blog) and first time commenter :-) I love these shirts!! I would get the one that reads “I put chocolate on my chocolate” since I do sometimes need a good chocolate sandwich :-)

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 6:00 pm

Thanks for reading Kathleen. Love that shirt too. :)

Anna K February 14, 2011 at 5:22 pm

I love the “I am not a Nugget” t-shirt with the baby chick on it. Thanks for the tip on the Ghee. I have always wanted to try it. Now that I know my Costco might carry it, I am going to check it out.

Eleanor@eatinglikeahorse February 14, 2011 at 5:50 pm

I can’t believe how much hair Summer’s got – or how big she is! she’s gorgeous :-)
Thanks for the avocado week too, it was what inspired me to buy some last Monday then, when I was stuck for a vegan fat to use to make some cupcakes, they called me!
They made lovely chocolate cake :-)

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 5:59 pm

Eleanor,
Thanks so much, and I’m happy to hear you got your avocado fix…in chocolate form no less. ;)

Gaby February 14, 2011 at 6:00 pm

I think I would want the one that says True Love with the PB and J jars! Or any of the veggie ones, I don’t discriminate with the veggies. Or else one about my addiction to coffee….so many choices! I may have to buy one if I don’t win!
Your ghee is feeding you well, both you and summer look beautiful!

Miranda February 14, 2011 at 6:01 pm

Fun shirts! I would want one that says “I heart food” or if I would make one that has a pic of an avocado or a coconut and says “I heart fat”.

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 6:03 pm

Miranda,
“I heart fat’ – love it. :)

A Teenage Gourmet February 14, 2011 at 6:23 pm

The “Team Butter” shirt is amazing! . . . because of you I have bought a) brown rice tortillas, b) avocado, and c) more peanut butter. I plan on combining them all into one delicious wrap tomorrow. And I think we’re soul sisters with that price tag thing. ;)

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 7:05 pm

Sami,
Enjoy that wrap…I think you should eat it while wearing a super expensive outfit. ;)

Heather February 14, 2011 at 6:57 pm

Aww, you two look so cute in your t-shirts! Love your V-Day grits!

I so have to have the shirt with a smiley broccoli on it! It’s so me!!

Hattie February 14, 2011 at 6:58 pm

I would get an “EAT YOUR VEGGIES!” shirt. :)

Annie@stronghealthyfit February 14, 2011 at 6:59 pm

Gah!! The comments are open! Cute post. I’m very interested in Ghee, would you consider writing a post about it sometime? I’ve been hearing a lot about it lately but don’t know much, except from seeing it on HEAB.

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 7:04 pm

Annie,
Ghee is clarified butter. Regular unsalted butter is boiled down until the milk proteins separate from the fat, and ghee is the leftover pure butter fat. I try to avoid dairy proteins as my body doesn’t tolerate them very well, and ghee has next to zero casein in it. I’ve also heard that all ghee is from pastured cows, but that could just be a rumor. It’s yummy – I love it. Perhaps I will write a post about it – good idea. :)

A.B. February 14, 2011 at 7:16 pm

How utterly adorable! I can’t choose a favorite…. but I think my top two are: “Instant Human Just add Coffee” and “Wasabi, hurts so good”. :D

Kiran February 14, 2011 at 7:26 pm

Ghee is so delish. Are you aware that we use Ghee a lot in Indian cooking? It’s like using Bacon fat, only a healthier version ;) I love eat your veggies and I love oatmeal :)

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 7:32 pm

Kiran,
Yes! I always associate ghee with Indian food, and I have a friend that practices Ayurvedic medicine and basically drinks ghee for breakfast every morning. She’s done it for years, and she has the most gorgeous skin. I seriously think it’s all the ghee!

Missy February 14, 2011 at 8:00 pm

Oh boy…it would be a toss up between pescatarian and eat your veggies….and the launch of a new addiction…as I am sure Id make my own pickles and peanut butter t-shirt…

Nicole February 14, 2011 at 8:24 pm

I would create my own t-shirt about Green Smoothies

Maria February 14, 2011 at 8:27 pm

I’d have to say the I love cupcakes shirt…I’m having a recent, mild obsession with cupcakes ;)

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Helen February 14, 2011 at 8:38 pm

So many cute shirts. I really like the “I’m here for the pie” one. That is so me…who cares what the meal is, what’s for dessert?

greenbean February 14, 2011 at 8:41 pm

“TEAM GREEN BEAN” obviously! lol :)

Kayla @ An Honest Girl's Guide to Life February 14, 2011 at 8:44 pm

Okay, I have a question for ya! How does the flavor of ghee compare to the flavor of straight up butter? I am a butter lover, too, and am so curious!

I love the evolution of yoga t-shirt, super cute!

http://www.fibers.com/shop/design/evolution-of-yoga.D13475

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 10:28 pm

Kayla,
Ghee tastes like unsalted melted butter – it’s nothing but the butter fat, and I find it less “sweet” than regular butter if that makes any sense.

Lori February 14, 2011 at 8:53 pm

I like the shirt that says—–I <3 sweet tea.

Southerners love their sweet tea!

Alexandra (Veggin' Out in the Kitchen) February 14, 2011 at 9:19 pm

I probably won’t enter the contest (although I LOVE those shirts! Especially the “better friend than a burger” one since I’m vegetarian), but I just wanted to say thank you so much for the shout out a few posts ago about my stuffed peppers! You’re the SWEETEST!!! And your variation look delicious!
And, although I miss “talking” to you on your blog, I 100% understand why you closed the comments! I wouldn’t want to miss any precious time with my daughter, if I had one, either!! Best wishes to you and your family for now and for forever!!! :)

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 10:22 pm

Thanks for understanding Alexandra…and thanks for the stuffed pepper recipe. Loved them, and I still really want to make the carob pizzert! :)

Christine February 14, 2011 at 9:52 pm

Because it's true!

Hayley February 14, 2011 at 10:10 pm

Pure2raw twins February 14, 2011 at 10:22 pm

we have been incorporating ghee back into our diet a little, I forgot how much I liked it. I used to have it all the time, actually made my own. Maybe one day I will get back to doing that.

Love the tee!

Amy @ elephanteats February 14, 2011 at 10:28 pm

I was inspired by you and used almond butter tonight in a mushroom sauce for butternut squash ravioli (http://elephanteats.wordpress.com/2011/02/14/dairy-free-valentines-dinner/). If I wasn’t trying to cut down on the calories, I would’ve added more.

Summer is adorable! I know you think she has CD’s eyes, but I think they’re the exact shape of yours. Too cute :)

Tara February 14, 2011 at 10:34 pm

I would get the “true love” pb and j shirt!

Jenny Brooks February 14, 2011 at 10:39 pm

Emily (Comfortable Home Life) February 14, 2011 at 10:39 pm

So many choices! I love the one that says “Cereal Killer.” My sister has been known to put down seven (yes, 7!) bowls of cereal in one sitting!

Sarah February 14, 2011 at 10:52 pm

Off the topic of ghee, but you said you eat oat bran every night before bed? How much do you eat of it (measurement wise)? Do you combine it with milk or water- what’s your cooking method?
Thanks, I’m looking for denser night- time snacks.

HEAB February 14, 2011 at 11:03 pm

Sarah,
I usually eat a 1/2 cup of oat bran cooked with 1 to 1.5 cups water. I’ll either eat with butter and cinnamon or mix it with rice protein powder and top with nut butter or chocolate. Eat it every night – swear by oat bran at night as it really helps me sleep.

Sarah February 14, 2011 at 11:14 pm

I would have to make my own that says…

“It’s only 9 am and I already ate my weight in peanut butter”

No greater love <3

Jane February 14, 2011 at 11:17 pm

I like the “I’m a fun guy” t-shirt. Cute

Caitlin (EatFeats) February 14, 2011 at 11:25 pm

Amber from Berlinswhimsy February 15, 2011 at 11:48 am

Heather February 15, 2011 at 12:24 pm

That baby nut butter shirt is just precious. There are so many fun shirts on there. I think I would have to go with “I heart wine”.

Wendy Heath February 15, 2011 at 12:54 pm

http://www.fibers.com/shop/design/instant-human-just-add-coffee.D12842 I’m gonna have to go with this… nursing school is kicking my butt! I got up at 4:30am, did a clinical, went home and studied, had a tiny nap, went to a 10 hour work shift, and went straight to class after changing clothes like Superman in the staff bathroom. Now I’m sitting in the student center struggling to stay awake until my next class…. instant human, just add coffee! just about sums up my day. :-) Your baby is so cute, Heather, you are such a lucky mom! Happy Valentine’s day to you!

Mandiee February 15, 2011 at 1:04 pm

I’m glad to see Costco sells some of your essentials in bulk. I don’t know what I’d do without Costco-sized broccoli! You and summer look great in your shirts! I love the original herbivore, eat your veggies, and I am not an ingredient. All of the shirts are so cute that it’s hard to choose!

Have a lovely day!

Lisa February 15, 2011 at 1:25 pm

I like the Herbivore shirt – cute and simple!

sarah February 15, 2011 at 2:19 pm

So funny, I was going to look to have a t shirt made online this week! Love the ‘original vegan’ shirt and the ‘I’m not a nugget’ one! Would love to win one!
Miss your comments section, but hat’s off to you for taking the time to enjoy your little one–it does go soooo fast–you won’t regret it. Guess we’ll just wait for the comments section when she starts school…:)

jennifer February 15, 2011 at 3:10 pm

I <3 cake!

Denice Anderson February 15, 2011 at 4:18 pm

I would get the ‘Bacon is Candy’ Shirt for my best friend. I have never met a person who loved bacon as much as she does! Not sure how we are friends, (I don’t eat meat) but I support her with her addiction!

Olivia R. February 15, 2011 at 4:18 pm

You’ve turned me on to baking chocolate…NOMZ

Bobbie February 15, 2011 at 5:11 pm

Heather-
Could you find out from CD what section in Costco carried the GHEE. I searched for it today and couldn’t locate the product…no one could help me! :(
THANKS!
