(to continue)….. so sweet!
<3 love
Oh, I’m so happy you like the socks, Summer! When my mom asked me which colors she should take, I suggest pinkish with a little green, because I assumed you might like that, and I know she enjoyed knitting them for you a lot because she loves everything that is pink. And then she had the idea to add this little green border, and I said it would be lovely. I am so happy that you like them!
(And also happy to see that you put them on immediately, and also that they are still a little too big so you’re going to have fun with them for some time.
)
Kath,
Summer loves the socks so much. They are perfect. Many thanks to your mama for putting so much love into making them.

What a beautiful picture…I’m even more embarassed at the sad little pictures I take for my blog. With my iPhone no less!
Ameena,
No shame in the iPhone pics. So wish I had one when out and about as my camera is great but tough to carry with me sometimes.
So cute! Loving the photography
You two are are sweet!
Awwww, what cute hand knit socks. Good job, Kath’s mom! I knit socks, too, but my babies are bigger.
striped socks and sunbeams remind of childhood and its simple sweetness. Summer is lucky to have an amazing mom.
Sweet smile!
Ana
precious! hey mama, is Summer in cloth diapees? maybe looks like it in the pic?
Lisa,
No, I tried Bum Genius cloth diapers and lasted…ONE DAY. Oh my gosh, the leaks were awful. Not a fan, but a friend told me I could have added an extra liner. Instead, I just went back to disposables. They work really well for us.
Love it!
So sweet! Says…me.
Precious.
Love the editing on the photo, Heather!
Thanks Kayla. Having so much experimenting with Photoshop!
Fat baby hands are the best!
HEAB – this looks like the cover of a book.

Somebody is getting bit by the photo editing bug and I love the resulting shot!
Thanks Averie. I downloaded all of Pioneer Woman’s actions for Photoshop and having so much fun with them.

Melissa, I know. Love those chubby little hands and wrists.
It’s the little moments like that that are just so very precious and often overlooked at the time that are so important to have with your kids. (IMHO) Love it and the photo
how amazing is that photo?? love it
Thanks Shannon. I love it too.
I love the photo and corresponding words…beautiful and so fun!.
I will not be a “conventional” blogger and write: “Presh!” or “Nice photo!”
We know I’m better than that.
So I’ll just let you know I want a pair of those socks
Eden,
I can do many things, but unfortunately, knitting is not one of them.
Lovely little lady.
Proud parents photographing precious poses.

Hi Heather,
Got my BLW book in the mail yesterday. I know I said it was for my friend, but I opened it up and started reading it myself!!! So interesting. I don’t yet have my own children, but I work with preschoolers and it has some very helpful tips from a childhood development perspective. Thanks again for the thoughtful giveaway!
I would also love an update on Summer’s eating progress with solid foods!
cutest EVER!
look at those little hands! this is an incredibly sweet picture. sometimes it’s hard to think any of us were ever that little.
That is just TOO cute! What an amazingly sweet picture!!! I love Summers cute baby hands!!!!!

This has to be the sweetest picture I’ve seen in a long time!
You know, this morning I was thinking about your posts from Michigan last summer and how you were on your babymoon. It’s hard to believe that was almost a year ago, isn’t it?
Michelle,
I know – it’s crazy huh? I can’t believe she’s over halfway to being a year old. It’s all going by way too fast. Just trying to enjoy every minute.
Love!
I lovelovelove this! So stinkin’ adorable. And look at that chubby wrist and teeny tiny fingernails
