Baaaahaha. I’ve only ever been to the Whole Foods in Toronto – which is in the richest part of the city. I went wearing yoga pants and was waaaaay under-dressed to be there, and the cars in the parking lot were waaaay more expensive than Priuses. I will say though, $80 for six items is pretty accurate 😉

Allie June 16, 2011 at 8:07 pm

Gah! Thank you so much for linking this!! Made me laugh so hard. * hugs Heather *

Eleanor@eatinglikeahorse June 16, 2011 at 3:19 pm

This is genius, love the quinoa line! It could so apply to Waitrose in England, which is the sort of place you “pop to” to buy a organic pesto and rocket baguette, rather than run into to grab a sandwich… 🙂

Kath (My Funny Little Life) June 15, 2011 at 7:09 pm

Tee-hee 😀

Nora @ Natural Noshing June 15, 2011 at 6:31 pm

hahhhhhhhahha This video made my day! 🙂 Thanks for posting HEAB!

Laurie Sayeed June 15, 2011 at 4:30 pm

LOL! Yeah, what’s the deal with the Whole Foods Parking lot? I was at the Whole Foods in Madison, WI last week and I wish I had this song bumping in my stereo, the people in the parking lot drive like maniacs!–it must be a universal Whole Foods thing! But their mixed berries and cream cake is to die for and the smile on my husband’s face is priceless!

Too funny Heather! Take care, your Sconnie friend–Laurie Sayeed

Tonya June 15, 2011 at 12:56 pm

LMBO! This made my frikkin day! I am so mad that I can relate to this song! Especially the KOMBUCHA PART!! So not happy with the re-introduced “Enlightened” blend. Give it to me 100% baby! Seriously, anyone that can relate to the words song needs to stop and thank the good great Lord that they can afford $6 peppers! LOL!

Tonya June 15, 2011 at 1:15 pm

Oh my goodness. Today is my last day at my job and in lieu of a cake they gave me a $50 Whole Foods card. HA! They know me too well.

Heather @ Kiss My Broccoli June 15, 2011 at 6:28 am

That was awesome! I busted out laughing at the “pay 80 bucks for the 6 things I got”…so true, so true!! Hahaha!

Heather @ Health, Happiness, and Hope June 15, 2011 at 6:24 am

HAHAHHA! LOVE THIS! The most hilarious part is that it is all SO true!!!

Michaela June 15, 2011 at 5:27 am

utterly hilarious! thanks for sharing!

VeggieGirl June 15, 2011 at 5:02 am

So beyond hilarious (and true! I sent it to a few of my friends who work at Whole Foods and they agree, haha).

Deb (SmoothieGirlEatsToo) June 14, 2011 at 9:54 pm

Now’s the time that I get to catapult myself to “least popular blogger in the ‘sphere” by saying this: I would rather poke my eyes out with shards of glass than shop at whore foods. I go to smaller independent health food stores when I’m in LA or Clarks (angel’s sing) in Palm Springs. I always feel that whore foods is overcrowded, over priced and filled with stressed out people. No thanks.

The first store was about 4 minutes from Derek’s office and the second one (with Fireside wines) is across the streets from one of the original Yoga Works before it sold out.

Hilarious video though. Absolutely hilarious!

Joelle (On A Pink Typewriter) June 14, 2011 at 9:15 pm

OMG- I’m dying.. that is HILARIOUS. Love the kombucha line.. I am definitely reposting this.. Thank you for posting this HEAB- I really needed this laugh today! 🙂

Tara June 14, 2011 at 8:58 pm

This video made my day. You win best blog post of the day!!

Eden June 14, 2011 at 8:52 pm

hee! I know where that Whole Foods is! My and Deb were not far from there today! Its totally how it is with all the priuses and the little shopping carts! Ok, enough with my exclamation marks!!!!

Nicole June 14, 2011 at 8:25 pm

This is so funny, and a bit eerie too. My husband and I were just at Whole Foods in our white Prius and I came back and this was in my inbox! Our experience wasn’t entirely dissimilar to this, although we didn’t have a turntable in the back of our car 🙂

Kathleen @ KatsHealthCorner June 14, 2011 at 8:13 pm

Hahahahaha. 🙂 I love it! 🙂

Balancing Sylvia June 14, 2011 at 7:38 pm

That was ridiculous! 😀 Is this CD’s doing???

HEAB June 14, 2011 at 7:41 pm

No, but CD is the one who sent it to me. He saw the video on of his favorite blogs and knew I’d find it hilarious. I did. 🙂

Lauren June 14, 2011 at 7:21 pm

Ahaha this is my JAM! The Whole Foods parking lot in Pittsburgh is unofficially voted the worst parking lot in the whole city: http://boringpittsburgh.com/poll/poll-where-is-the-worst-parking-lot-in-pittsburgh/

I choose to walk five blocks rather than risk denting my Prius 😀

Kelly June 14, 2011 at 7:18 pm

haha awesome! and here I thought it just an Austin WF issue.

Hannah June 14, 2011 at 7:07 pm

TOO funny!

Jen June 14, 2011 at 7:04 pm

I think my favorite part about this video is that I live in LA, and actually go to the Whole Foods he filmed at. I can relate to his parking dilemmas. LA drivers get nasty in Whole Foods parking lots. I know because I’m one of them.

The Delicate Place June 14, 2011 at 6:37 pm

i saw this on my friend’s facebook this morning too. it’s so true! it’s live or die in that parking lot! love the line about taking ‘booch off the shelf.

Fallon June 14, 2011 at 6:15 pm

That was great!!!

Pure2raw twins June 14, 2011 at 5:43 pm

haha this is so true…loved it!

Jayme @ Runner-n-Spice June 14, 2011 at 5:37 pm

that made my day! I forwarded it onto my mom and sister! lol

Jenn (eating bender) June 14, 2011 at 5:29 pm

I’m so glad I saved this for the end of the work day. Smiling from ear to ear — some true creative talent. 🙂

Jamie June 14, 2011 at 3:51 pm

I was on edge when they took the kombucha off the shelves too, bra!
Super funny!

Ana June 14, 2011 at 3:36 pm

Hahaha! This is really funny Heather!
80 bucks for 6 things and on the edge since they got kombucha off the shelves 🙂

Dakota Campbell June 14, 2011 at 3:35 pm

Averie @ Love Veggies and Yoga June 14, 2011 at 2:54 pm

The WFs here is so busy that we have a parking deck! Complete with upper and lower ramp and people stalk the lower level parking places like it’s Xmas time at the mall. Crazy but true!

Thanks for the laughs 🙂

KL June 14, 2011 at 2:26 pm

This is soooo true…they actually have guards directing traffic in some Whole Foods here in SoCal. CRAZY!!

polly June 14, 2011 at 2:06 pm

LOVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😀

hugs to Summie.

Maria @ Beautiful Busy Bee June 14, 2011 at 1:53 pm

That’s how we live in the west side of LA… haha!! Life is rough when they’re outta kombucha!! 🙂

Check out my blog please!!

K June 14, 2011 at 1:27 pm

What a crazy coincidence! I just finished watching this based on another friend’s suggestion! SO funny!

Emily June 14, 2011 at 1:06 pm

Hahah love it!! This is how I felt there the other night 🙂

Emily @ Comfortable Home Life June 14, 2011 at 1:02 pm

AHAHA tooooo funny! Where did you find this delightful gem?

HEAB June 14, 2011 at 1:10 pm

CD saw it on one of his favorite blogs and sent it to me. He knows how to make me laugh. 🙂

there are no words, SO FUNNY!

chelsey @ clean eating chelsey June 14, 2011 at 12:47 pm

That was the BEST thing I’ve ever seen.

Kim @ girlevolving June 14, 2011 at 12:38 pm

I don’t shop at WF (we don’t have one) but this made me laugh a lot!

Susan June 14, 2011 at 12:32 pm

The WF parking lot is one place you do not mess around!

tea-bag June 14, 2011 at 12:20 pm

well that is the funniest thing i’ve seen in a long time. & so true! i may or may not have gotten in an argument w/ a dude in the parking lot. then when he saw me in the store he actually called me an asshole from down the aisle.
all those fair-trade organics didn’t subdue his anger!

HEAB June 14, 2011 at 12:45 pm

I just read your comment while eating lunch and now my keyboard is covered in tuna spit. Laughed a little too hard. 😉

Coco aka Opera Girl June 14, 2011 at 12:20 pm

Love it. My mom definitely parks her hybrid there on a regular basis . . .

CH June 14, 2011 at 12:02 pm

Bwahaha,”dude you’re in front of the quinoa”. Awesomeness.

HEAB June 14, 2011 at 12:46 pm

Definitely my favorite line. 🙂

Christine June 14, 2011 at 11:56 am

So awesome. I live a couple of miles from that Whole Foods, but drive to one that’s further away because that parking lot is such a nightmare. It’s definitely almost gotten real for me a few times with some inconsiderate Prius drivers! And the inside isn’t much better–lots of iphones and guys wearing Ugg boots!

Deb (SmoothieGirlEatsToo) June 14, 2011 at 9:56 pm

Guys wearing UGG boots should be illegal.

Holly @ The Runny Egg June 14, 2011 at 11:49 am

That is hilarious!!!

Tori (Fresh Fruition) June 14, 2011 at 11:44 am

OMG HAHA! I seriously love this.

Doug June 14, 2011 at 11:41 am

So amazing! Perfect excuse to procrastinate another half hour re-watching that a few times.

Nicole @sugarcoatedsisters June 14, 2011 at 11:18 am

WOW this is so hilarious — it totally hits on every Whole Foods stereotype, love it!

Some of the rhymes are hilarious “could you please move, you’re right in front of the quinoa…”

Thanks for posting, Heather, it made my morning much funnier 🙂

Alyssa June 14, 2011 at 11:04 am

(I used to shop at that Whole Foods once in a while, when I found myself on the west side. Not very often, lol!)

Alina June 14, 2011 at 10:55 am

Haha, love it so true. This exact whole foods was exactly across from my yoga studio so I know it well. Except for now I discovered the walt disney of whole foods and it’s hard to go to the small ones lol. not sure if they have those huge stores all over the country but they are like amusement parks or something.

Firecracker June 16, 2011 at 3:52 am

Alina, I call those giant ones “Disneyland,” too! Some of them have like giant cheese wheels on display and so much prepared food, it actually does feel like an amusement park. There is such a discrepancy between the LA stores, I actually feel disappointed by some of the “smaller” ones – so bratty. 😉

Heidi @ Food Doodles June 14, 2011 at 10:46 am

That is hilarious and I’ve never even been to whole foods 😀

Monika @ Powered by paprika June 14, 2011 at 10:31 am

You just made my day HEAB!

A Tablespoon Of Liz June 14, 2011 at 10:06 am

This was hilarious. I’ve watched it three times already!

Stephanie June 14, 2011 at 10:01 am

Haha this is great!

Nolita June 14, 2011 at 9:53 am

Haha! I hear we might be getting a WF closer to me (the closest one I have now is in Dallas or maybe Tulsa right now) woo hoo!

Halley (Blunder Construction) June 14, 2011 at 9:50 am

HA this is awesome… but also makes me jealous of the WF in L.A. Mine is so so tiny!

Jess June 14, 2011 at 9:47 am

That cracked me up. I love that he rhymes bro/bra with “quinoa”

Felicia (Natural + Balanced) June 14, 2011 at 9:44 am

…pick up cayenne for his master cleanse hahaha this is hysterical

Maggie @ Say Yes to Salad June 14, 2011 at 9:42 am
