HAHA! I love it. “I’ve been on edge ever since they took kombucha off the shelf.” Best line.
AGREED!! haha
LoLoL!
“Pay my 80 bucks for 6 things and get the heck out”
haha, best part. I agree.
story. of. my. life.
…pick up cayenne for his master cleanse hahaha this is hysterical
That cracked me up. I love that he rhymes bro/bra with “quinoa”
HA this is awesome… but also makes me jealous of the WF in L.A. Mine is so so tiny!
Haha! I hear we might be getting a WF closer to me (the closest one I have now is in Dallas or maybe Tulsa right now) woo hoo!
Haha this is great!
This was hilarious. I’ve watched it three times already!
You just made my day HEAB!
That is hilarious and I’ve never even been to whole foods
Haha, love it so true. This exact whole foods was exactly across from my yoga studio so I know it well. Except for now I discovered the walt disney of whole foods and it’s hard to go to the small ones lol. not sure if they have those huge stores all over the country but they are like amusement parks or something.
Alina, I call those giant ones “Disneyland,” too! Some of them have like giant cheese wheels on display and so much prepared food, it actually does feel like an amusement park. There is such a discrepancy between the LA stores, I actually feel disappointed by some of the “smaller” ones – so bratty.
Hilarious!
(I used to shop at that Whole Foods once in a while, when I found myself on the west side. Not very often, lol!)
WOW this is so hilarious — it totally hits on every Whole Foods stereotype, love it!
Some of the rhymes are hilarious “could you please move, you’re right in front of the quinoa…”
Thanks for posting, Heather, it made my morning much funnier
So amazing! Perfect excuse to procrastinate another half hour re-watching that a few times.
OMG HAHA! I seriously love this.
That is hilarious!!!
So awesome. I live a couple of miles from that Whole Foods, but drive to one that’s further away because that parking lot is such a nightmare. It’s definitely almost gotten real for me a few times with some inconsiderate Prius drivers! And the inside isn’t much better–lots of iphones and guys wearing Ugg boots!
Guys wearing UGG boots should be illegal.
Bwahaha,”dude you’re in front of the quinoa”. Awesomeness.
CH,
Definitely my favorite line.
Love it. My mom definitely parks her hybrid there on a regular basis . . .
well that is the funniest thing i’ve seen in a long time. & so true! i may or may not have gotten in an argument w/ a dude in the parking lot. then when he saw me in the store he actually called me an asshole from down the aisle.
all those fair-trade organics didn’t subdue his anger!
Tea-bag,
I just read your comment while eating lunch and now my keyboard is covered in tuna spit. Laughed a little too hard.
The WF parking lot is one place you do not mess around!
I don’t shop at WF (we don’t have one) but this made me laugh a lot!
That was the BEST thing I’ve ever seen.
there are no words, SO FUNNY!
ahh this is hilarious…. soo true !
hahaha this just made my day!!!
AHAHA tooooo funny! Where did you find this delightful gem?
Emily,
CD saw it on one of his favorite blogs and sent it to me. He knows how to make me laugh.
Hahah love it!! This is how I felt there the other night
What a crazy coincidence! I just finished watching this based on another friend’s suggestion! SO funny!
That’s how we live in the west side of LA… haha!! Life is rough when they’re outta kombucha!!
Check out my blog please!!
LOVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hehehehehhehehe
XO
hugs to Summie.
This is soooo true…they actually have guards directing traffic in some Whole Foods here in SoCal. CRAZY!!
The WFs here is so busy that we have a parking deck! Complete with upper and lower ramp and people stalk the lower level parking places like it’s Xmas time at the mall. Crazy but true!
Thanks for the laughs
THIS IS HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!
Hahaha! This is really funny Heather!
80 bucks for 6 things and on the edge since they got kombucha off the shelves
Ana
I was on edge when they took the kombucha off the shelves too, bra!
Super funny!
I’m so glad I saved this for the end of the work day. Smiling from ear to ear — some true creative talent.
that made my day! I forwarded it onto my mom and sister! lol
haha this is so true…loved it!
That was great!!!
i saw this on my friend’s facebook this morning too. it’s so true! it’s live or die in that parking lot! love the line about taking ‘booch off the shelf.
I think my favorite part about this video is that I live in LA, and actually go to the Whole Foods he filmed at. I can relate to his parking dilemmas. LA drivers get nasty in Whole Foods parking lots. I know because I’m one of them.
TOO funny!
haha awesome! and here I thought it just an Austin WF issue.
Ahaha this is my JAM! The Whole Foods parking lot in Pittsburgh is unofficially voted the worst parking lot in the whole city: http://boringpittsburgh.com/poll/poll-where-is-the-worst-parking-lot-in-pittsburgh/
I choose to walk five blocks rather than risk denting my Prius
That was ridiculous!
Is this CD’s doing???
Sylvia,
No, but CD is the one who sent it to me. He saw the video on of his favorite blogs and knew I’d find it hilarious. I did.
Hahahahaha.
I love it!
This is so funny, and a bit eerie too. My husband and I were just at Whole Foods in our white Prius and I came back and this was in my inbox! Our experience wasn’t entirely dissimilar to this, although we didn’t have a turntable in the back of our car
hee! I know where that Whole Foods is! My and Deb were not far from there today! Its totally how it is with all the priuses and the little shopping carts! Ok, enough with my exclamation marks!!!!
This video made my day. You win best blog post of the day!!
OMG- I’m dying.. that is HILARIOUS. Love the kombucha line.. I am definitely reposting this.. Thank you for posting this HEAB- I really needed this laugh today!
Now’s the time that I get to catapult myself to “least popular blogger in the ‘sphere” by saying this: I would rather poke my eyes out with shards of glass than shop at whore foods. I go to smaller independent health food stores when I’m in LA or Clarks (angel’s sing) in Palm Springs. I always feel that whore foods is overcrowded, over priced and filled with stressed out people. No thanks.
The first store was about 4 minutes from Derek’s office and the second one (with Fireside wines) is across the streets from one of the original Yoga Works before it sold out.
Hilarious video though. Absolutely hilarious!
So beyond hilarious (and true! I sent it to a few of my friends who work at Whole Foods and they agree, haha).
utterly hilarious! thanks for sharing!
HAHAHHA! LOVE THIS! The most hilarious part is that it is all SO true!!!
That was awesome! I busted out laughing at the “pay 80 bucks for the 6 things I got”…so true, so true!! Hahaha!
LMBO! This made my frikkin day! I am so mad that I can relate to this song! Especially the KOMBUCHA PART!! So not happy with the re-introduced “Enlightened” blend. Give it to me 100% baby! Seriously, anyone that can relate to the words song needs to stop and thank the good great Lord that they can afford $6 peppers! LOL!
Oh my goodness. Today is my last day at my job and in lieu of a cake they gave me a $50 Whole Foods card. HA! They know me too well.
LOL! Yeah, what’s the deal with the Whole Foods Parking lot? I was at the Whole Foods in Madison, WI last week and I wish I had this song bumping in my stereo, the people in the parking lot drive like maniacs!–it must be a universal Whole Foods thing! But their mixed berries and cream cake is to die for and the smile on my husband’s face is priceless!
Too funny Heather! Take care, your Sconnie friend–Laurie Sayeed
hahhhhhhhahha This video made my day!
Thanks for posting HEAB!
Tee-hee
This is genius, love the quinoa line! It could so apply to Waitrose in England, which is the sort of place you “pop to” to buy a organic pesto and rocket baguette, rather than run into to grab a sandwich…
Gah! Thank you so much for linking this!! Made me laugh so hard. * hugs Heather *
Baaaahaha. I’ve only ever been to the Whole Foods in Toronto – which is in the richest part of the city. I went wearing yoga pants and was waaaaay under-dressed to be there, and the cars in the parking lot were waaaay more expensive than Priuses. I will say though, $80 for six items is pretty accurate
