<3 Marinutta…never thought of it with chicken. YUM!

Samantha August 31, 2011 at 6:14 pm

Oh and I’d assume marinutta is yours but who knows?!

Victoria (District Chocoholic) August 31, 2011 at 6:11 pm

My guess is that you made Marinutta Chicken because it has nut butter AND flax. But I could be wrong.

Jennie (the gf-gf) August 31, 2011 at 6:17 pm

I think the cheesy chicken hash is yours, since you posted about white potatoes the other day.

I love the .5 serving for Summer! Cute!

Katie @ Peace Love and Oats August 31, 2011 at 6:18 pm

I guess the first one is yours. although they both look delicious!

Reply

Dea August 31, 2011 at 6:36 pm

you made the first one, because you said you scooped out Summer’s portion. ;)

Brittany @ Itty Bits of Balance August 31, 2011 at 6:38 pm

I’m going to guess you, Heather! The peanut butter & flax gave it away ;)

Jen August 31, 2011 at 6:41 pm

Marinutta Chicken = You. Cheesy Chicken Hash = CD. Although, I remember you saying that you’ve been loving white potatoes lately, so maybe the hash is yours! Either way, you and CD both know how to make some mean looking chicken.

Kayla @ SproutyBuns August 31, 2011 at 6:49 pm

Marinutta Chicken is yours and Cheesy Chicken Hash is CD’s. Decision was based on the flax seed :)

Reply

Katie August 31, 2011 at 6:52 pm

I think you made the cheesy chicken hash….because there’s more butter in it. :D

Evan Thomas August 31, 2011 at 7:04 pm

I think CD was the cheesy chicken hash and you were the Marinutta.

I want to eat the cheesy chicken hash… even though I’m a vegetarian :)

YUM, I try to get Gary to make dinner but all I would get is pasta LOL so now I just have him help me in the kitchen, it works and he is really good about helping cleaning up :)

Pure2Raw, Gary is a catch! Helps with cleanup? That’s a good man. :)

yours was the cheesy chicken hash, CD did the other since he uses almond butter in his chili he always makes!

Reply

Averie @ Love Veggies and Yoga August 31, 2011 at 8:14 pm

Marinutta was yours, Hash was CD’s

But seriously, so interchangeable! You guys have been sharing cooking duties and eating styles for so long that seriously it’s hard to tell the difference I think!

Going to email you back in reply to the icons…thank you for that site and link in the meantime!! :)

no idea! but, they both look really delicious!! thanks for sharing, great healthy dinners!!

I’m guessing Marinutta = You and Hash = CD, he seems to add more cheese to his dishes!

Reply

michelle August 31, 2011 at 8:38 pm

The Marinutta sounds like Cd’s chilli recipe

Lindsay @ Lindsay's List August 31, 2011 at 8:56 pm

You made the Cheesy Hash!

Reply

Holly @ The Runny Egg August 31, 2011 at 9:12 pm

I think the first recipe is CD’s and the second is yours. No idea why I think that — maybe the PB in the first reminds me of the AB chili (CD’s) and the hash has potatoes which you just posted about… hmmmm….

Reply

katie @KatieDid August 31, 2011 at 9:39 pm

I think CD made the second one. The 3 Tbsp of butter, cheese, and potatoes lead me to believe. I know you like those things too but I think you’d be more inclined to include flax in a tomato sauce!

Very true. You know us well. :)

Kristin @ STUFT Mama September 1, 2011 at 12:54 am

Hmm… marinutta? I must try that. I would’ve never thoguht to put that combination together.
He he! Yes, love the .5 serving for Summer.
I’m guessing the marinutta recipe is yours???? But, you did just write a post on white potatoes. Is this s trick question? :)

Reply

Michaela September 1, 2011 at 1:29 am

At first I thought the marinutta dish is yours, but as the second dish is including cheese and potatoes you have recently talked about… maybe that is yours!

Reply

Jenny September 1, 2011 at 5:36 am

I bet the first is CDs, esp since the second is full of butter and cheese–that sounds like you!

Reply

Baking N Books September 1, 2011 at 7:10 am

Oh God…I think the first one is yours…but then I see the potatoes in the second one.

That is a Stumper! If there was beef in one, I’d guess that as CD’s.

How do you come up with these creative, simple ideas?/sauces? I always just do routine and saute veggies with meat…and then cover in salsa or pasta sauce (no added sugar) with cheese ;)

Reply

Jenny September 1, 2011 at 10:20 am

Salsa is good instead of pasta sauce if you want variety. Salsa and cheese are great are big white potatoes.

Alex @ Spoonful of Sugar Free September 1, 2011 at 7:22 am

I’m guessing the Marinutta’s yours and the Cheesy Chicken’s CD’s……But they both look so yummy! And how did Summer like it? She enjoying whole food now?

Reply

HEAB September 1, 2011 at 8:16 pm

Alex,
Summer ate it right up – I added a little cheese and sour cream. She loved it, and really loves any food we give her ‘cept plain avocados. She’s still not a fan. However, I have not given up hope!

The pictures make me think that the marinutta chicken was yours (because there’s green)and the hash was CD, but I’m guessing the opposite-
That you made the hash and CD made the marinutta chicken.

Props to CD for the flax meal! My husband would freak if he knew what I put in his food sometimes ;)

Ana September 1, 2011 at 7:59 am

At first I was going to say that the Marinutta Chicken was yours due to the use of flax + butter + nut butter in it, plus it was atop what seems to be steamed spinach – and I know you like your greens.
But then, since you are on a potato kick lately I also thought the Cheesy Chicken Hash was yours!
This is a hard one, and tricky too! Can I say they are both yours? Ok, I will go with the Cheesy Chicken Hash being yours (just because of the potatoes! haha!) and the Marinutta being CD’s (since he is the one who makes nut butter chilli and this is kinda similar in nature to that!).
And now I am curious to know who made what!!
Ana

That is such an interesting combo! I am going to guess that this is your recipe – it has flax and nut butter!

you’re the marinutta and CD is the hash? ahhhh lil summer eating all grown up style!

I think the Marinutta is CD’s…because it’s similar to his almond butter chili recipe ;)

his was cheesy, yours had greens ;)

xo.

I am planning on ordering from iherb for the first time and I was wondering what kind of products you use on your face? Your skin always looks so good! Also, what other products do you order from iherb? Thanks! Your meals both look great, might have to try them both. You give me so much inspiration.

HEAB September 1, 2011 at 8:12 pm

Hi Juli,
I love Burts Bees orange essence facial cleanser, but usually I just use whatever soap we have in the shower. I’ll use the Burts Bees stuff to wash my face at night if I’m wearing make-up which I rarely wear during the summer. No make-up = no face wash at night. I also buy unscented shampoo and conditioner from iherb. I try different ones, and I love Dr. Bronner’s soaps. I buy the unscented for Summer, and I love the liquid peppermint for myself and buy the peppermint bar soap for making homemade laundry detergent. I also really like Sun Warrior rice protein powder. Love iherb! :)

I am guessing yours is the cheesy chicken hash.

I am still drooling over your cheese and potato and eggy dish.

but really both dishes were pretty similar….ish.

I dont mind which one is which I want to know if you think I can serve the flaxy peanut butter one to ‘normal’ guests – because it looks REALLY good but (kind of unfortunately) we are having guests ALL weekend. The trials and tribulations of most of my nutrition crazy friends being online aquaintences! (pretty sure that not how you spell it but whatever….) xxx

HEAB September 1, 2011 at 8:09 pm

Emmy,
YES! The PB adds so much flavor. However, I would just add it to your favorite marinara sauce. The canned diced tomatoes + tomato paste was a little lacking, but still good for those of us crazy online nutrition types. ;)

Both recipes look delicious, but I definitely think the second one is yours! After your potato confession a few days ago I figured it had to be yours! ;-)

Whitney September 2, 2011 at 6:59 am

I am going to say you are marinutta and CD is the hash because you like butter but CD LOVES butter :)

Reply

Susan September 2, 2011 at 12:26 pm

I remember you talking about CD’s love of butter, so I a going with the second one based on the fact that it has more! Unless his love of butter is rubbing off on you ;)
