Thank you! I”m due July 21, but the doctor told me that the babies would probably arrive sometime in June. Ahhh, it’s going to be here before we know it!

WOW! It’s funny- right after you had Summer, my sister told us that she was expecting twins! I was so excited that I’d be able to put all my new pregnancy/baby knowledge I’d been learning from your blog to use! She now has two healthy baby boys and it looks as though things have come full circle here!

Thanks so much. Haha, the mustard. I totally need that big container, but I’ve been buying smaller ones b/c some days I feeling regular mustard, other days, it’s Dijon, and I even went through the McDonalds drive-thru and ordered 10 of their hot mustards. They laughed and immediately knew I was pregnant. Oh, and I’ll eat an ice-cream sandwich in your honor. Dang, they’re good. Love you!

Haha, thought of you so many times these last few weeks. We kept the pregnancy hush hush as we wanted to make sure everything was A-okay with babies before sharing our news. No Pop-Tarts this time around, but I definitely think there is at least one girl in my belly as my food aversions/cravings/nausea are just like they were with Summer. The exact same. NOT A FAN OF THE FIRST TRIMESTER, but end result is so worth it.

Hi Kilee, nope no twins on either sides of our families. Ours will be the first! I was taking fertility meds, and I’m considered an “older mom”. Therefore, we knew multiples were a possibility. Still surprised though.
That is so wonderful! Also, I admire your willingness to talk about problems with fertility / taking fertility meds . . . not that it’s anyone’s business if you keep that to yourself but I think a lot of people struggle with fertility and putting it out in the open detaches some of the stigma. If I see one more “older” Hollywood mom pop out twins and claim they weren’t using any sort of fertility treatment . . .
All that aside, how awesome for your family!!!!!

I just made coconut butter this morning after reading your post about it from years ago. It is cooling on my counter as we speak. I used unsweetened flaked coconut from my local grocery store in my BlendTech. It only took a few minutes and it is not grainy. But I am SOOOO worried about it. I used the only coconut my grocery store had (whole foods is an hour away) and I just looked on the ingredients and it does have some sulfur or something like that in it as a preservative. So, it is terrible? What does that do to my kids bodies? Should I throw it away? AHHHH. It looks and smells so good.

Okay, wait, I’ve regained my composure. First and foremost congrats to you and CD!! My best friend just had twins three days ago, with a two year old at home. Her and her husband were terrified when they first found out (okay, and still a little terrified with the two newborns and a toddler). But, the babies were born healthy and despite the apprehension she really couldn’t be happier with her family of five! Plus, my friend is barely 5’2″ and didn’t even have to go on bed rest. Hopefully you’ll make out okay with the few extra inches
