Hello my almond butter loving friends. If you're new to HEAB, you may like to subscribe to my RSS feed or receive my posts via email. Thanks for reading!
Before the twins arrived, I made picture frames for their room in hopes of creating a photo gallery after Emily shot their newborn photos. Frames?
Check! You can read more about them here.
Check! Thanks again Emily.
All that was left to do was put the framed photos on the wall, but I decided to add a little something more…
You know the those metal letters that are all the rage from Anthropologie? Rachel made her own, and as soon as I saw her adorable DYI faux metal letters, I knew I had to use her idea somewhere in Charlie and Katie’s room. The project was easy. I just bought two 12″ cardboard paper mache letters from Jo-Anne’s, and painted them white. I then used Command picture hanging strips to attach the letters to the wall. Done.
The finished wall…
It makes me happy. Nursery #2 is officially complete.

Heather, your little ones are so precious.
I love their little crochet diaper covers and Summer gets
more adorable all the time. She so totally has your eyes. Emily does such beautiful work. Thanks for sharing
it with us. And having the time/energy to craft with 3 little ones so close in age…you’re really rocking the whole “Mom” thing.
Thanks Jennifer,
The diaper covers are from Etsy – I loved them too, and yes, Emily does do beautiful work. So grateful for her photos of our family.
Beautiful photos, and beautiful nursery! You’re such a devoted mother, your family is blessed.
Thank you Mandy, and yes, very blessed.
Super cute! Your such a crafty mama these days, Heather. I love it.
UGH. Seriously?! *You’re* such a craft mama. Maybe I shouldn’t drink a glass of wine the moment I put baby to bed.
Maryea,
Nah, don’t give up the wine.
Wow! I can’t believe how beautiful everything looks — most especially the kiddos! I used to think Summer looked so much like CD, but the older she gets, the more she looks just like you! The twins are adorable and you are right, Charlie looks just like CD! Congrats — I am so happy for you all!
Thanks Holly.
You are so crafty and adorable!!! I love it. I wish I had the patience for stuff like that–the product (and how beautiful they look) is so worth it!
Oh my gosh!! Three precious babies! You and CD are so blessed!!
Thanks Colleen, and yes, totally blessed.
OOOooh, love those babies toes! How you have time for even that, amazing Heather! oxoxo m
Marty,
Coffee makes all the difference. Lots of caffeine…lots and lots.
Oh my goodness! Precious! Precious! Precious!! I do mean the babies and Summer – how big she’s getting! I hope she is adjusting and being a great big sister!
Oh. and yes, your craftiness is super cute, too! ;o)
Jennifer,
Summer is doing really well with the babies. She just kind of accepted that they were here…however, ask me again in 6 months or so when they start playing with her toys.
Another job well done Heather!
LOVE your photo gallery post. If only our little ones could be so lucky to have such a beautiful room.
Hollie,
I’m trying to enjoy it before I have to remove all the furniture.
Great job on a DIY project and for getting the nursery set up and done exactly the way you want it and I am sooooo impressed you found the energy to even tackle this one! You go, girl! I mean, mama
Averie,
I live on coffee. I dread the day I become immune to its effects.
Oh Heather! They are so beautiful and Emily has grown! She’s getting lovelier with each passing day!!! You and CD are so blessed and must be really proud parents! ((:
Congrats again and thanks again for sharing these precious pictures! (:
Thanks Lena, and yes, we are quite proud of our kiddos and so very blessed.
Wow, beautiful babies and beautiful pictures. Summer looks just like you! The one of the 3 of them on the bed melted me.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing!
Thanks Amy, that photo was one of my favorites from the session as well.
My heart just melted seeing the photo of your twins little fingers and toes in this post… and then I clicked on the link for more photos, now it’s a puddle. Such gorgeous babies you have, and well done Emily on capturing incredible moments to be treasured for a lifetime
Thank you Christa.
so dang cute
so talented. just come to my house and craft with me! i’m always up for decorating tips! those babes are lucky to be living in such a stylish crib (/bad pun intended).
Melissa,
Yes, craft time at your place. I’m so there!
I love it!! It looks great! You’re so inspiring, Heather.
And the photo with all those TOES!! Be still my heart…precious!
Love the design! So cute and fun!
I just showed my mama the twins’ photos and told her all about your family
She agrees–beautiful kiddos!
Love what you’ve done with their nursery <3
Nursery #2! I love it!!
Beautiful, Heather!
Congratulations, Heather! The twins are beautiful and I am (selfishly) happy that you are blogging again
Thanks Jill, it’s good to be back.
Amazing! It looks so beautiful! I am amazed at how well you are coping with brand new twins AND a toddler. Seriously when my girls were that age I was barely sleeping, barely getting out of the house and definitely not organised enough to decorate. So Impressed!!!
Thanks Jess,
This time around I’m accepting all help offered to me. I didn’t do that when Summer was born, and it’s made all the difference. Well that, and A LOT of caffeine.
You are amazing
Thanks Joy.
I LOVE the crafts and the baby pictures are so precious! You are so inspiring!
Thanks Theresa.
